Kim Kardashian's tears over marriage breakdown

Kim Kardashian broke down in tears while watching an episode of 'Kourtney and Kim Take New York' in which she told her sister her marriage needed to end.

The 31-year-old socialite - who filed for divorce from husband Kris Humphries in October after just 72 days of marriage - has been seen constantly arguing with the basketball star during the current season of the reality show.

However, after watching an episode in which she confided in her older sister Kourtney that she knew her union with Kris needed to come to an end, Kim admitted the "intense" scenes left her in tears.

Following a meeting with medium John Edwards on the show, the brunette beauty told Kourtney: "I don't want to be married anymore.

"I honestly feel like I can't do this anymore with Kris. I feel like I got into this way too fast. You know I'm not happy."

After seeing the show, a fan posted to Kim on twitter: "I starting crying when you and Kourtney were talking to John Edwards! (sic)"

She responded: "Me too! So intense. (sic)"

Following her marriage split, Kim admitted while she is still a "hopeless romantic", she needs to be "a little more realistic" about relationships.

She recently said: "I'll always be a hopeless romantic. It means that I believe and love and the dream of having a perfect relationship, but my idea of it has changed.

"I think I need to not live in a fairytale like that. I think I maybe need to just snap out of it and be a little more realistic. What I want isn't possible."

Kim Kardashian: 'I tried everything I could to save marriage'

Kim Kardashian has insisted that she tried her best to save her marriage to Kris Humphries.

The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star filed for divorce from NBA player Humphries in October after only 72 days of marriage.

Appearing as a guest co-host on Live with Kelly on Monday (January 23), Kardashian admitted that her split was a struggle but that she felt it was necessary to be honest about the fact that the relationship was not working.

"I definitely tried everything, I felt like I could... I want babies. I want forever love," the 30-year-old explained.

"I just felt like, you know, if I feel in my heart that this isn't right, then why wait years to have the same result? I really learned that I just need to rewrite my fairytale."

Kardashian went on to say that her heart goes out to Seal and Heidi Klum, who themselves recently ended a 7-year marriage, saying that people should not judge the couple as they are not privy to all the facts.

"It's so sad. I would never wish anyone to go through a divorce, but then again after what I went through, you don't really know until you're in this person's shoes," she said.

"When I see other people when I might not understand their situation, now I really just step back, because you don't really know what they're going through."

Kim Kardashian Donates $50,000 to The Trevor Project

Kim Kardashian is giving back.

The Kourtney and Kim Take New York reality star recently donated the $50,000 she raised during a September 2011 fundraiser to The Trevor Project, an organization that provides suicide prevention services to LGBT teens.

Kardashian, 31, raised the funds during a trip to the Cantor Fitzgerald offices in New York City, where she was put to work on the trading floor.

"The firm lost more than 600 employees in the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center in 2001 and on the 10th anniversary of the attacks, they donated all revenues from their trades to charities around the world," she wrote on her blog at the time. "I was honored to take part!"

Is Kim Kardashian Pregnant?

Kim Kardashian Keeps Warm In Her Fur Coat TV personality Kim Kardashian makes her exit from her hotel wearing fur in New York City, New York on January 23, 2012. Recently rumored the demands of control from her mother Kris Jenner caused the deal with American Media Inc. to fall through and now rumors swirl that the Kardashian brand is in jeopardy. (FameFlynet Pictures)more pics » Kim Kardashian (FameFlynet Pictures) While plenty of people remain convinced (for whatever strange, irrational reason) that Selena Gomez is pregnant, we can assure you the pop star most certainly does not have a baby on board. Also not expecting: Kim Kardashian.

Yet, for whatever reason, a lot of people also think the reality TV star is pregnant. The only conclusion we can draw here is that any female star who isn't pregnant, but has millions of people following their every move, is bound to wind up with an imaginary baby in their womb.

Perhaps people got Kim K confused with her sister Kourtney? In case you haven't heard, the eldest Kardashian is indeed expecting her second child. And as far as we know, Khloe still wants to get pregnant, she's just had a lot of difficulty achieving that fete. As for Kim, well, like we said, she's definitely not pregnant. MediaTakeOut thought she had a baby bulge. And there's even a website called KimKardashianpregnant.com. Yes, someone paid to buy that domain.

To summarize: Kim K is not pregnant, but a lot of people think she is. At some point down the line, she probably will have a baby. Or she won't. Really, it's none of our business.

Khloe Kardashian's Net Worth Revealed! - Gather Celebs News Channel

Khloe Kardashian often fades to the background when her sister Kim Kardashian is in the news. These days, Kim graces the headlines because of money that she makes, her opinions on her quickie marriage and divorce, and introducing new business ventures. It seems to be about the money she has earned, including the supposed $10 million she earned from her wedding alone. But now Khloe is making some headlines because her estimated net worth has been revealed. Khloe is a stay-at-home wife to her athlete husband, Lamar Odom, meaning she doesn't work quite as much as Kim.

According to a new article by Wetpaint, Khloe Kardashian has a net worth of approximately $4 million. The majority of her money comes from the E! Network, as she appears in several reality shows, including Khloe & Lamar, Keeping up with the Kardashians, and making several appearances on Kourtney and Kim Take New York. Wetpaint Entertainment estimates that she earns about $20,000 per episode. On top of that, she also has several endorsements deals, photo opportunities, and product lines that she shares with Kim and Kourtney.

Don't forget her wedding to Lamar Odom! That televised event earned her about $300,000, which included exclusive photo rights. Her engagement ring was donated by Vartan's Fine Jewelry and is reportedly worth $850,000. Lamar has a net worth of approximately $56 million and with a prenup in place, she would have no problem surviving without him.

It appears that Khloe Kardashian knows how to rake in the money when she has the chance. By selling exclusive rights for big events, such as her wedding and selling photo rights, she makes enough to at least cover her expenses in that massive house of hers. Surely, she isn't responsible for paying for everything considering her husband makes millions. Are you surprised at her "low" net worth?

Fauxdashian Alert! Trial Date Set in Kim Kardashian's Old Navy Battle - E! Online

Kim Kardashian, Melissa MolinaroFlynet Pictures

Kim Kardashian's lawsuit against Old Navy for using her likeness in a commercial is not going away anytime soon.

Of course, it's also not coming to pass anytime soon.

A trial date of April 23, 2013 (yes, 2013), has been set by Federal Judge Dale S. Fischer for the battle between Kardashian and Old Navy's parent company, the Gap.

The date was set after yesterday's hearing, during which Fisher also went over some of the finer points of the proceedings, including outlining trial deadlines for motions, discovery and expert witnesses.

The suit was filed by Kim against the retailer last July after using a Kim look-alike in their ad campaign. She claimed that they were unauthorized in their use of her likeness, which is undeniably highly sought out "to endorse commercial products and services."

For their part, the Gap denied all allegations in a response filed last September, further claiming that their campaign was protected under the First Amendment.

The trial is expected to last four to six days.

Kim Kardashian Back to Wearing Fur Despite PETA's Lashing Out at Her - Gather Celebs News Channel

Kim Kardashian doesn't seem to keep her promises when it comes to not wearing fur. She was recently the focus of a PETA campaign, where she was featured on a billboard beside some foxes looking for the mother. The message insinuated that Kim was wearing their mother as she was wearing fox fur in the picture.

While she did tweet a picture of herself wearing faux fur back in the beginning of January, her faux fur period didn't last long. Kim was spotted wearing fur yet again at LAX airport just days ago. X17 Online snapped a few pictures of her to prove it. She is wearing a white, cream and brown zip-up vest with a white long-sleeved turtleneck.

So what message is Kim Kardashian sending to her fans by disrespecting PETA's wishes for her to stop wearing fur? And what message is that sending in terms of her opinion on animal cruelty? She is in a way promoting the practice of skinning animals for the sake of clothing, which many believe is such a cruel practice.

Kim needs to think about this. She doesn't need more bad press, so showing up in a fur vest does more damage than she thinks. She is essentially promoting a horrible practice, going against PETA's wishes and giving her critics even more ammunition to hammer her image into the ground.

Kim Kardashian: Kris Humphries divorce was "bad business decision"

By Elizabeth Kwiatkowski, 01/24/2012

Kim Kardashian says if she really got married for the money and fame like critics have suggested, her divorce from Kris Humphries was "a bad business decision." "First of all, I would hope this is fake -- that someone wouldn't really have to go through this. I think that me being such a hopeless romantic, I wanted to believe in something so badly. But if you really think about it, if this was a business decision and I really made all that money that everyone was claiming that we made off this wedding, and if the wedding was fake and just for TV -- I'm a smart business woman -- I would have stayed married longer," Kardashian told host Kelly Ripa during a Monday morning appearance on Live! With Kelly!.

"This was a bad business decision, you know what I mean? If you really think about it, it doesn't make sense that everyone says that. So, I really didn't think following my heart would create this much backlash."

The Keeping Up with the Kardashians and Kourtney and Kim Take New York star and Humphries got engaged in May after six months of dating and then wed in late August in front of 450 guests at a private estate in Montecito, CA.

Kardashian then filed for divorce in late October from her husband of just 72 days, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split. Kim's Fairytale Wedding: A Kardashian Event, a two-part special which documented the ceremony and the events leading up to it, was broadcast on E! earlier that month.

The marriage was the second for Kardashian, who was married to music producer Damon Thomas from 2000 to 2004.

Is Kim Kardashian Getting Into Politics? - Wetpaint

Nobody can deny controversial celebutante Kim Kardashian has had a rough few months, but new reports claim the to-be-divorced socialite is hard at work behind-the-scenes cooking up a plan to win disgruntled fans back.

On Jan. 23, Kim took to Twitter to tell her followers she was meeting with Fox News leading political strategist Greta Van Susteren, writing, “At lunch with @gretawire! Were having a very interesting political debate! You guys should follow her for news!”

While we guess it’s possible Kim was actually having a political debate with the mastermind commentator, Kim? Politics? Really? Hollywood Life speculates the bodacious brunette was talking Kim’s own politics and collaborating with Greta to craft a plan to smooth things over with her (many) haters. That seems far more likely than Kim discussing the current political debates! (Case-in-point: Kim proved her political prowess â€" or lack thereof â€" during this interview about Occupy Wall Street in October.)

Kim Kardashian Rocks Casual Chic at LAX - Gather Celebs News Channel

Kim Kardashian was spotted walking through LAX on Monday night, sporting a look that was both casual and very chic. Returning from New York for her guest-hosting stint with Kelly Ripa on Live With Kelly, Kim looked comfy and sexy at the very same time.

According to a report from Celebuzz, Kim was wearing distressed jeans paired with a soft white turtleneck. Topping off her look was a long, sleeveless faux fur vest--the definite trend-setter of the entire outfit.

Kim KardashianSimple accent pieces only served to enhance this chic look, and those were chosen with exquisite taste as well. Simple cream-colored pointy-toe heels, and huge hoop earrings gave an elegant feel to a casual ensemble.

Kim Kardashian pulled the entire look together with a pair of big shades and an even bigger and likely very expensive handbag. How does she manage to look so good all the time--even when going casual?

Of course it certainly doesn't hurt that the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star has every imaginable piece of clothing and jewelry available to her--and the ones she may be missing are likely obtained rather quickly by sending an assistant out to shop.

If you can't maintain proper decorum in your personal life, it just goes to show that where there's money, there is lots of decorum in your fashion life. Maybe that's what's keeping Kim Kardashian from going over the edge. She doesn't seem happy, she's getting lots of flack for dumping Kris Humphries, and she's reflected in a poor light in almost every publication in which she appears.

But damn--she looks good, doesn't she? At least she's got that one thing that money can buy going for her--right?

Check out Kim's hot LAX style by clicking here.

Kim Kardashian Fashion: Tight and Sexy (Pictures)

Kim Kardashian in Lace

(Pacific Coast News)more pics » Kim Kardashian (Pacific Coast News) Kim Kardashian has a style that revolves around a few things: tight dresses, sexy high heels, flashy jewelry, and big hair. Take those essentials and you too can at least dress like Kim Kardahian -- well, Kim on a budget, at least.

The reality star has millions to spend on her Louboutin heels, countless Birkin bags, and more, but you can easily steal her style by sticking with the styles and looks she loves. For instance, you can buy an affordable bandage dress at most department stores without breaking the bank for a Herve Ledger number. Kim loves her some bandage dresses, that's for sure.

And, any sort of impossibly high heel works for her. She loves boots and stilettos and wedges and more -- anything to give her some extra inches. Kardashian tends to go for simple styles and dresses them up with accessories also. She's not typically a fan of bold patterns -- except animal print is always a favorite. She often opts for bright solids, or neutrals. And you can never go wrong with basic black.

Kathie Lee Gifford: Kim Kardashian needs to go away! - Gather Celebs News Channel

Even someone who is a longtime Kardashian family friend and the godmother to Kendall and Kylie Jenner wants Kim Kardashian to step out of the limelight.

"If Kim truly wants to be happy, she needs to get out of the spotlight for a long time," Today host Kathie Lee Gifford tells In Touch. "However long it takes to regroup and re-find herself."

Fat chance of that happening! A self-absorbed narcissist like Kim is going to hang onto fame as long as she possibly can, even though her "obsession with the limelight" helped destroy her 72-day marriage to Kris Humphries, according to Kathie Lee.

"She was all caught up in the planning on it. So many people were expecting and counting on her," Kathie Lee tells In Touch. "And a marriage is not about other people. A marriage is about two people getting married."

If someone's really invested in a relationship and wants it to work, they don't file for divorce after just 72 daysâ€"and reportedly consult divorce lawyers before the wedding. Kim obviously never loved Kris and just used her wedding for money, ratings, and publicity. But even though Kim is an overexposed fame whore who doesn't care about anyone but herself, Kathie Lee still thinks she is a "very sweet girl" and says fans shouldn't think that what happens on the Kardashians' reality shows is actually, you know, real.

"Remember, it's called reality television, but there's no reality to it. It's a show," Kathie Lee tells the mag. "The reality is very different than what you see on TV."

At least Kathie Lee acknowledges that the Kardashians are guilty of staging scenes and re-editing their shows to garner sympathy! She's also right that Kim should take some time off, but that's never going to happen unless viewers stop watching her shows and they get cancelled.

What do you think? Is Kathie Lee Gifford right that Kim Kardashian needs to stay out of the spotlight? Do you think Kim's actually a "very sweet girl"? Sound off in the comments!

EXCLUSIVE: Kim Kardashian Donates $50K To Help Prevent Gay Suicide - RumorFix

Posted on January 24th, 2012 at 7:15 am

True

A few years ago, Kim Kardashian was a presenter for the Trevor Project’s annual fundraiser and never forgot their powerful message of helping save young lives from suicide.

So when the star did a charity event with Cantor Fitzgerald, an investment bank that gives away millions every year on 9/11 to honor their employees who died in the attack, she picked the Trevor Project as her charity.

PICTURES: Kim Looking Extra Hot At The Airport

The non-profit that takes calls from gay and questioning youth has call centers in Los Angeles, New York and in San Francisco â€" in the very spot that Harvey Milk took calls when he was a Supervisor in the 70s.

So Kim helped raise $50,000  â€" making her one of the largest celebrity donors to the organization joining the ranks of Daniel Radcliffe and Jodie Foster, who have made substantial contributions over the years.

A source close to Kim tells RumorFix, “It’s important to Kim to support The Trevor Project because lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people face extreme levels of hate and discrimination in her generation and she knows that they need safe places like the Trevor Project to turn for help.”

We’re told that the Kourtney and Kim Take New York star is so impressed with the Trevor Project that she’s planning to visit the call center in the near future.

Castle Review: Season 4 Episode 13 'An Embarrassment Of Bitches' - earsucker

Castle Review: Season 4 Episode 13 'An Embarrassment Of Bitches'

On Castle’s latest episode, An Embarrassment Of Bitches, Rick and Kate investigate a socialite named Kay Cappuccio, who is a vapid waste of space â€" kind of like Kim Kardashian. In case you’ve missed the show, you can read our full recap here.

The show featured a dog trainer named Francisco Pilar, who is the show’s victim. Apparently, he was hooked into a drug cartel. Kay’s boyfriend, Reggie Starr, put a camera in her dog’s collar. It was believed that it was actually the photographer that was working for the Celebrity Report.

Rick and Kate were given the responsibility to look after Francisco’s dog, Royal, while their investigation was pending. They traded babysitting duties for the pooch, and grew closer as a result. How cute. They were going to do rock/paper/scissors for permanent custody of the dog, but the dog chose to go with Kay Cappuccio, instead.

Wasn’t Kay completely vapid? They drew so many similarities to Kim Kardashian. Kay was basically untalented and completely devoid of any substance.

What was funny was that when Rick and Kate were talking to Dr. Barker, they actually thought she was the dog trainer’s therapist, when she was really the dog’s therapist. Too funny.

Still, it was a great episode. On next week’s show, we’re going to get to see the Noir, 40′s based episode, titled, The Blue Butterfly. Are you excited?

What did you think of last night’s show? Hit the comments with your thoughts!

Kim Kardashian: If marriage was for money, I would have stayed married longer

Bored of Kim Kardashian and her 72-day marriage? No. Well, that’s good, because the fallout from her divorce doesn’t seem to be anywhere near over yet.

The 31-year-old Reality TV star has opened up once again about the breakdown of her marriage to Kris Humphries, this time during a TV interview with Kelly Ripa on US TV. Kim faced up to those pesky rumours that she only married Kris as part of a moneymaking business decision,

â€Å"Being a hopeless romantic, I wanted to believe in something so badly,” says Kim. â€Å"If you really think about it, if this was a business decision and I really made all that money that everyone was claiming that we made off this wedding, and if the wedding was fake and just for TV - I’m a smart business woman - I would have stayed married longer.”

We have to admit, Kim does make a good point here – high profile celebrity couples can rake in the cash. But do you believe what she’s saying here?

Backlash!

Kim also admitted to being shocked a the public’s negative response to her short-lived marriage, and she also insisted that she did everything she could to save her marriage, â€Å"I really didn't think following my heart would create this much backlash.

â€Å"I definitely tried everything I could [to save it], but also heard stories of people who had kids and stayed married for years and it didn't end up working out. I want babies and that forever love and if I felt in my heart that this wasn't right, why wait years for the same result?”

Do you have any sympathy for Kim and what she’s said here, or do you still think it’s ridiculous that she only managed 72 days of marriage?

Kim Kardashian Calls Divorce 'a bad business decision' - Wall Street Journal (blog)

Kim Kardashian Calls Divorce a “bad business decision”; Spike Lee Goes Off on Hollywood Executives…

Kim Kardashian Calls Divorce a “bad business decision”: Reality star Kim Kardashian, who has been facing backlash from some fans since her split from Kris Humphries after 72 days of marriage, was on “Live! With Kelly” on Monday discussing her breakup. “If you really think about it, if [the marriage] was a business decision, and I really made all that money that everyone was claiming that we made off this wedding, and if the wedding was fake and just for TV … I’m a smart business woman. I would have stayed married longer,” Kardashian said. “This was a bad business decision. If you really think about it, it doesn’t make sense.” The “Kourtney and Kim Take New York” star continued, “I really did some soul-searching, and I needed that. I needed to just be with the family.” [People]

Spike Lee Goes Off on Hollywood Executives: Spike Lee criticized Hollywood at a Q&A following the screening of his latest movie “Red Hook Summer” at Sundance. The filmmaker responsible for “Malcolm X” and “Do The Right Thing” was asked a question by Chris Rock â€"yes, that Rockâ€" and launched into a long, passionate answer. Responding to what he would do with with studio dollars, Lee said, “We never went to the studios with this film. I told you! I told you! … I bought a camera and said we’re gonna do this motherfâ€"ing film ourselves.” He says the plan all along was to make “Red Hook” independently, and bring it to Sundance. “So this whole thing was planned out. I didn’t need a motherfâ€"ing studio telling me something about [the neighborhood of] Red Hook! They know nothing about black people! Nothing! And they’re gonna give me notes about what a 13-year-old black boy and girl do in Red Hook? Fâ€" no!” According to Entertainment Weekly, Lee continued, “What else can you do? We had to do it ourselves! We shot motherfâ€"ing ‘She’s Gotta Have It’ for 12 days back in 1986. And I’m now waiting for Universal to do the sequel to ‘Inside Man,’ my biggest hit ever! I can’t wait anymore!” The Brooklyn director said, “We had to do it ourselves!” Lee concluded: “Sorry for that motherfâ€"ing tirade.” [EW]

Sears stock soaring as retailer faces critical year - msnbc.com

Kenmore and Kardashians.

The dichotomy between these two Sears brands, representing old-line appliances and trendy clothing, points to what may be the biggest problem for the iconic 125-year-old retailer: It doesn’t know what it wants to be.

Sears may have to figure that out soon if the company is to survive.

“They’ve lost their way,” said Anthony Dukes, associate professor of marketing at the Marshall School of Business, University of Southern California, about the retailer’s failed attempts to compete with discounters such as Wal-Mart or add new merchandise to keep up with retailers such as Target. “They have a future if they can find a space in retail that they can occupy.”

All eyes seem to be on Sears right now, following last month's announcement it will shutter up to 120 stores, rumors the company may go private, and a recent infusion of capital from its chairman and investor Eddie Lampert. Shares of Sears Holdings Corp. have jumped about 49 percent so far this year, making it the best performer among companies in the S&P 500, according to data from S&P Capital IQ.

“When you see the chairman out there buying blocks of stock that gives investors confidence,” said Mickey Klein, managing director and co-founder of the Astor Group, a global investment firm. “He’s giving the company a price boost to give it some time to make improvements.”

Recently published reports show Lampert had snapped up $159 million in stock and now owns 59 percent of the company's shares, fueling reports he plans to take the company private. One investment bank said the stock has been rising as short-sellers clear their positions in case of such a bid.

If improvements don’t come, however, Sears won’t survive, said Klein.

The bottom line, he added, is the overall shopping experience at Sears stores is “unappealing and un-adventuresome,” and has only gotten worse since the Kmart merger in 2004. Sears operates a total of about 4,000 stories, including some 1,300 Kmart outlets, according to the company's latest filings with regulators. Analysts believe the Sears brand is the more valuable one.

A good sign for many analysts is Sears’ recent move to name a new chief merchandising officer, Ron Boire, who will head up both Sears and Kmart merchandising. Boire previously was CEO of Brookstone Inc., the quirky gift and gadget company.

"By attracting someone with Ron's significant experience in retail, merchandising and product development as well as in leading companies through turnarounds, we're adding a key talent in accelerating our transformation," Sears Holding’s CEO and President Lou D’Ambrosio in a statement this month.

But transformation won’t come easy.

Sears stores seem to be trapped in a time warp, said Steve Buxbaum, retail consultant and executive vice president of the Buxbaum Group. Trying to market new items such as a clothing line by reality show stars the Kardashian sisters in an old-fashioned store more conducive to selling washing machines can be a tough sell, he added.

“If you don’t keep up the physical environment and make capital (investments) then ultimately you’ll fail,” he said  “You can’t put trendy clothes in something that looks like a ’70s retail store.”

He said Sears still has a solid foundation of customers and strong brands including Kenmore, Die Hard and Lands' End that can help propel the company if it makes needed investments in its stories.

Sears remains one of the biggest retailers in the country with $43 billion in annual sales, and the retailer’s long history continues to give it some retail street cred.

“Many of us still have an emotional connection with the Sears toolbox we bought 20 years ago,” said Ken Tencer, a business consultant and author of “The 90% Rule.”

“Most people, including myself, once thought that if you bought something at Sears, it would last forever,” he said. “Now we associate Sears with being cheap. They stopped being what made them successful.”
